onul reads a birth chart and shows it as a daily weather forecast. Almost all of that happens on your phone. This page says exactly what does not.
Your birth date never leaves your phone
The date, time and place you enter during setup are stored on your device and are not sent to us. Everything the app calculates from them — your character, your five readings, today's forecast — is computed on the device itself.
When you connect with another person, the only thing about your chart that reaches our server is which of the ten characters you are: one value out of ten. That is all the app needs to read a relationship, so it is all we ask for.
What we hold
| Your email address | Given to us by Apple or Google when you sign in. Used to identify your account and nothing else. |
|---|---|
| An account identifier | A random ID created when you sign in. |
| The ID you choose | How other people find you. Visible to anyone who already knows it. |
| Which of the ten you are | One value out of ten. Visible to people you have connected with. |
| Who you are connected to | Requests you have sent or received, and people you have blocked. |
What we do not collect
- Your birth date, time or place
- Your location
- Device identifiers or advertising identifiers
- Contacts, photos, or anything else on your phone
Who else sees it
We do not sell your data and we do not share it for advertising. It is stored with Supabase, which hosts our database and handles sign-in on our behalf. Sign-in itself is handled by Apple and Google under their own privacy policies.
Other people using onul see only what you let them: your ID, and — once you accept a connection — which of the ten you are. They never see your email or your birth data, because we do not have your birth data to give.
How long we keep it
Until you delete your account. There is no archive and no backup copy kept for our own use.
Deleting your account
In the app: Settings → Your account → Delete account. This removes everything above from our server and clears your birth data from your phone.
If you have already removed the app, use the account deletion page.
Children
onul is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect anything from them.
Changes
If this page changes in a way that affects what we collect, the date at the top changes with it.
